Saint Patty's Day 2006

Pappy’s was the place to be on St. Patty’s Day……..we cooked up over 300 pounds of corned beef along with a mounds and mounds of cabbage.  The place was full all day with hungry mock-Irish…….and some genuine Irish!!

In the middle of dinner, we has the “Buchanan Highlanders” grace us with a visit….they played three numbers, each followed by a standing ovation from the dinner crowd…..it was a great time for all........plans are already under way for next year!!

Here are some pics from that fantastic day………

Occasionally, we get busy and have to violate State and Federal child labor laws……….here’e Steve and Michelle’s grandson, Vincent, helping out and trying to make a buck!!

Of course, we have also entrusted our bar glasses to the elderly…….so Steve’s Mom, Rita was enlisted to help during a recent visit to St. Joe from their home in Port St. Lucie, Florida…..hey…..she needed to work off the cost of here airfare!!

Steve’s father, Ruby, was in town with Rita……..he managed to get a cameo in a Pappy’s TV commercial while filming at the restaurant….rumor has it he may be up for a Clio Award next year!!
